The Coach House forms part of a small complex of converted farm buildings and sits between two Kentish Oast houses, set back just below the Udimore ridge about 100’ back from the road with spectacular far reaching views over farmland.  The village of Udimore is located just 3 miles outside Rye in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on a ridge between the Brede and Tillingham valleys. The village has a thriving community and boasts two public houses and a community hall and ancient parish church. From the village there are numerous walks across open countryside. Within a 15 mile radius can be found a tennis club, sailing at Rye Harbour and numerous golf courses as well as equestrian facilities. Rye has a main line railway station and good bus networks. From the town there are train services to Brighton and to Ashford, from where there are high speed connections to London St Pancreas (37 minutes) and the Continent via Eurostar.

The Coach House is a substantial building dating from the mid nineteenth century with external elevations of brick under a slate tiled roof. Originally converted in the 1990s, the property was extensively refurbished in 2017, to include a new kitchen and natural oak flooring downstairs.
