A Grade II Listed house believed to date from the 15th century with painted brick and tallow lime washed timbered front elevation beneath a tiled roof. The renowned architect Frederick MacManus OBE (1903-1985) lived at the property and during his ownership he made various alterations in the 1970’s including the construction of the unusual Japanese tea hut at the bottom of the garden.
