Jason Stubbs of Phillips and Stubbs suggests a new way of thinking when it comes to selling property.
Microsoft co-founder, Bill Gates, thinks that we overestimate the amount of change which will happen over two years but underestimate the amount of change over ten. This certainly seems to be the case with housing. Our tastes move on hugely over a decade as new materials, technology, design, our experiences of staying in modern hotels and even watching reality home shows on the television increasingly influence us. Saturday, 23 September: 5000 Years of Glass in a Day.
9.30 for 10am start, finish by 4. The Creative Arts Centre, 37 New Rd, Rye, TN31 7LS.
Tickets £20, including tea, coffee & buffet lunch. This will [roughly] be the order of the day:

100% of the proceeds of both events will go to ARRCC, Rye’s fab respite centre, which daily collects, cares for and then returns 40 people suffering a range of chronic disabilities:
There is some overlap in these talks, so if you’re planning to come on the Saturday, there’s no need to attend the Friday event which, hopefully, will sell out anyway.
